The Upper Room at Club 12

This is the last night the Upper Room will be hosted downstairs in the lounge at Twelve Restaurant & Lounge. I will be the final feature before we literally take it to The Upper Room.  Join me and Mark “The Professor” Hatcher and Wanda McDonald and we do a guitar and vocals set of some of my favorite joints on the Circumlocution Vol II project.  This is where you go to experience the upper echelon of food, drink and entertainment in Washington DC. Located in the historic H Street corridor, The Upper is is the perfect evening out with guests for fine dining and a tasty helping of DC’s finest artist. This week is our last occupying the downstairs bar area with DJ Live Wyah and special guest every night.  Shout out to Juno Brown, Patrick Washington and Javier Starks for being our guests artists the last few weeks.

The Garden Open Mic at Bloombars

The Garden Open Mic feat. Carbon Dioxide (guest co-host: SolSis).  We welcome poetry, music, comedy, story-telling, dancing, juggling, political rants, relationship tirades and other special talents as long as they are within the realm of human respect and dignity. BloomBars is an all all-ages, community-oriented art space, so please keep this in mind when deciding what to perform. 8:30pm $7 donation

Up and Up Open Mic

Peace & many blessings to all, this is your weekly invitation to The Up And Up Open Microphone. This week’s show features Scooby aka Frank Sirius of Familiar Faces with special guest visit from the founders of Up And Up Fashion. The show is hosted by Brother Victorious & Black Boo of Mambo Sauce and features a live painting by Demont Peekaso which will be raffled off at shows closing. Thursday  #SpitDatDC at the ECAC Building

SPIT DAT is a weekly open mic held every Thursday @ 9pm at the ECAC (733 Euclid Street, NW, 2nd Floor Washington, DC 20001).  Consistently named one of the best poetry spots on the east coast because of it’s serene scene based on a sincere love of the art of poetry.  Drew “Droopy the BrokeBaller” Anderson and Dwayne B host. flowing $1 (ONLY $1!?).
