Christon “Christylez” Bacon is a native Washingtonian and a testament to groundbreaking Hip-Hop, self-expression, and pure artistry. As a performer, Christylez multi-tasks between various instruments such as the West-African Djembe drum, Acoustic Guitar, and the syncopated oral percussions of the Human Beat-Box, all while creating imagery with his lyrics. Christylez has been featured at many venues commonly unassociated with the realm of Hip-Hop music including the National Cathedral, the Kennedy Center, and the Music Center at Strathmore. Hey, man I appreciate what you doing for the community, for real!
P.S. LoL Black Colin Powell!
Bomani:
I have waited to see someone like you come along for so very long – I am so completely impressed, elated and enamoured with your work, philosophy and most all – your courage. I say courage hesitantly, for it should not take any courage to simply broadcast what is obvious and what is righteous. You are a great man, an ancient soul and a true servant to your fellow human being. Thank you for the moments, the laughs, and the passion. I am most proud to promote your work to everyone I know.
Love and light to you, my friend. I salute you.
Dude I love your stuff it’s great!
The BEST songs I have ever heard! Especially Read a Book, it’s my favorite!
